At right, my bookshelf... for me, it's an unlimited fountain of inspiration. No matter what becomes digital or how it's viewed, paper books are always my treasure.

Undergraduate Instruction

Teaching is a rewarding part of my life– I am truly happy in the classroom working with my students. Add to that subjects that I am passionate about, and it's hard to stop me...

Currently I am a full-time lecturer at the University of Miami. I teach Introduction to Electronic Media and graphic design in the College of Arts & Sciences, within the Department of Art and Art History. In this section of the site you can view examples of my teaching materials and students' work.

In addition to my work at UM, I make school visits to give lectures and studio art workshops for students ranging from ages 6-17. Before I taught college full time, I ran a successful after school kids art and portfolio-building program for several years out of my home-based studio, and worked as a teacher for Dade Schools here in Miami.

Please contact me if you are interested in having me visit your area for a lecture, hands-on studio art workshop or portfolio review.
